I have just had a lovely couple of days away... visiting the North Wales coast.
I stayed in the small town of Conwy (Conway in English).
Conwy Castle was built by the English 1286-1289 and dominates the town.
My B&B was next to the castle with lovely views of the estuary and harbour.
Conwy harbour is home to the smallest house in Britain.
Also known as Quay House it was a residence from the 16th Century until 1900.
A lady in traditional Welsh costume stands outside on most days.
Conwy Bay is an inlet of the Irish Sea.
The town sits on the estuary of the River Conwy.
The town has lots of quaint narrow streets to explore.. the town wall is a circuit of 3/4's of a mile.
The view from my bedroom window.
Cheers!
i wondered where you were. love your view, and the castle and the tiny house is wonderful. i would like to visit both of those. glad you had a happy holiday.

It is beautiful there in North Wales, I was in the neighbourhood in the eighties of the last century, it seemed ages ago! I walked there The Offa's Dike path.
