Garden wildlife feeding.............................................. and also causing havoc

I guess everyone knows which little creature is causing mayhem in my garden.

...and stretch!

...now he's spotted the apple feeder...

...which gets the rough treatment and discarded after the apple has been removed.

 ...he even knows I'm watching...

Look!!... he's even smiling!!

I topped up the fat ball feeders and stayed in the garden watching for a while.

The House Sparrows were glad to be rid of the squirrel...... for now.

Blackbirds usually just fly up and grab what they can... this female must have been watching the sparrows...

...she went back to collecting grubs after a while.

This Woodpigeon must also have been watching the small birds acrobatics.

"I'm sure I could give it a try"

"If I just hold on tight...

 ...and gently lean forward"

"hey! look at me... there's nothing to it"

"I know... I will be back later on to finish them off"

  2. Your backyard is worth watching a lot more than TV although the Queen's Jubilee had great pomp and circumstance.
    Squirrels can be so sneaky.

  15. That's a great set of pictures Andrew, I love squirrels, red or grey, it's just a shame the two aren't compatible. A hybrid wouldn't be a bad idea, I wonder whether any boffin's had a go ?
Canadian squirrels are completely fearless, they'll perform tricks for the camera.
