Splish splash I was taking a bath....................................................................

I have been sorting through my old images and clearing out the rubbish.
It's been a long and ongoing process... my computer sighs with relief when I click  " empty the recycle bin"

These were taken on the 2nd of May 2009... almost three years ago to the day.
I have already shared some before... but it was over a year ago.

It's the same birdbath I still have in my garden.

The one my garden squirrel used it as a prop to jump over in my little video clip earlier this week.

Quite a few images make up this post... I hope you enjoy seeing them.

" Let's do it again... and really go for it."

 Could you scrub my back?

Let's have a "bubble bath" !!

 That was so much fun.

A quick shake...

... and a preen.

Starlings are lovely birds to see up close... these bathers were wonderful to watch.
I couldn't believe three years have past since I took these images.

  2. Great shots of the Starlings Andrew! A much under-rated bird, if it were rarer people would travel a long way to see it for its beautiful plumage!

  9. Hi Drew! I see your title and I think of the song from my teens. Likewise I've been ruthless and deleting over and over. Don't you just like the sound of the recycle bin emptying?! CLUNK, like someone's slamming the door. It does you good; just imagine what it does for our computers. Those starlings sure were having a great time in the birdbath.
