Me and my shadow..........................................................................................

On Tuesday I shared some images I took on my way home from work.
I had to crouch down to get the shot I wanted.

I have taken shots of this tree before... I pass it twice a day.

I hope nobody was watching as I tried to stand up... my knees were aching and I nearly stumbled over and into the drainage ditch in front of me.
If you haven't seen the images from Tuesday click here...  TREE and CLOUD

The weather has been lovely today and I have been out for over five hours walking around my usual haunts.
I've taken loads of images...  hopefully some good enough to share during the week.

LOL! Hey, at least you were able to get up, I sometimes have to have help... and I'm younger than you!

Yeah -- sometime I'm going to squat down for a photograph and get stuck there forever. (I can just hear the comments "at least she went doing what she loved to do".) I'm glad you spent today outside in nature (even if I told you yesterday it was OK to skip a day ;>)!

That's a great tree. I would be stopping all the time but with my bad knees I might not get back up if I stooped. lol. I really like the black and white version of this.

Delightful, upward perspective! The colour version is very attractive, but I like how the white bulbous cloud "pops out" in the monochrome version!

that tree and cloud look so beautiful in combination

I really like how the tree is framed by the cloud! You caught that shot at the perfect time!

Oh, do I know that one! I grow old, I grow old . . . but hey, we will persist in getting those shots, won't we?

so that was on the other side of the photos earlier in the week. Worth holding onto for your shadow-shot pics Drew. Ooops for the almost-tumble; least you survived unscathed and camera intact and your bounty of lovely photographs

I can just see you now trying to get up and stand without falling back on your face. It sound like a position I would find myself in. Great shot...so it was worth all the bending and stooping. I really like your shadow in the middle of it. Great shot. genie

I absolutely love the color image of the tree! And I sound like bubble wrap going off when I try to stand up...
