Capturing my garden birds in slow motion.......................................................

These are my first attempts at filming my garden birds in slow motion.
It's a short clip... less than a minute.in length.
The first 12 seconds of the clip is in real time.

I almost forgot to share the cast.... in order of appearance.
Goldfinch
Long-tailed Tit
Blue Tit's

Many thanks for indulging in my madness.

  1. That Goldfinch is beautiful! Your April 25th post, Splish Splash I Was Taking a Bath, would have made a perfect slow motion video!

Sorry you had a problem finding where to comment. This new template has me befuddled at times.

  8. I like it. It worked out well. I may try that myself on something I normally would not consider doing in slow motion. Weren't you working on a time lapse video in your yard of some bulbs sprouting? How did that come out?

  14. Does your camera actually record in slow motion or did you use Movie Maker to do that?

  15. Well done Andrew, love watching birdy antics. I think I like it better in normal time, mainly because you can hear the birds chirping, when it goes into slow motion it removes the noise. Any time you want to take movies I'm happy to watch!
