These are my first attempts at filming my garden birds in slow motion.
It's a short clip... less than a minute.in length.
The first 12 seconds of the clip is in real time.

That Goldfinch is beautiful! Your April 25th post, Splish Splash I Was Taking a Bath, would have made a perfect slow motion video!
really good, did you sit in your duck blind? or just leave the camera set and walk away.
Very nice blog. Me and my GSD enjoy walks in the countryside ourselves... :)
That is a beauty. Not bad weather up your way I suppose?
That was neat watching in slow motion. I liked this "madness" Drew!
Sorry you had a problem finding where to comment. This new template has me befuddled at times.
Hugs!
May your "madness" last forever!!!
I missed you!
Kisses,
BShell
I love this and hope to see more! Love the Goldfinch.
I like it. It worked out well. I may try that myself on something I normally would not consider doing in slow motion. Weren't you working on a time lapse video in your yard of some bulbs sprouting? How did that come out?
i just love your UK birds! so beautiful! thanks, andrew!
great film clip and what a lovely garden you have ...have you used your hide yet as you say its hard to get real close to the wildlife
good luck
Peter
excellent, I love the moment the tits are balancing on the food tray :)
You have wonderful guest at the bird feeder! Good idea to take a video from them.
This is madness!!!:) Now you can put some fun swanky music on in the background for a little dramatic punch....it's quite addicting. Have fun!!:)
Does your camera actually record in slow motion or did you use Movie Maker to do that?
Well done Andrew, love watching birdy antics. I think I like it better in normal time, mainly because you can hear the birds chirping, when it goes into slow motion it removes the noise. Any time you want to take movies I'm happy to watch!
I enjoyed the slow motion myself. sandie
Nice job with the slow motion clip! I'd also like to know how you did it.
Great shots! Our birds are just popping out after a cold winter.
