Swans throwing some shapes....................... for World Bird Wednesday

SWAN LAKE
(produced by "rambles with a camera" and introducing the cast during their warm up).

Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus).
Let's get ready to.....

.....strike the pose.

 Mute Swan (Cygnus olor).

.....then stretch .....Oooh! that feels good!

 Black Swan (Cygnus atratus).

.....and a flex of the neck.

Swans are lovely birds to watch.

  9. This is a lovely collection of swans, Andrew. I saw Tundra Swans while out looking at Sandhill Cranes but couldn't get close enough for such wonderful images.
