Another attempt................... to salvage my sanity

I have now purcased a Nikon D40 from the auction site.
It was my first ever Dslr and so simple to use, comes complete with a Nikon 6 month guarantee and bought from a genuine dealer I have dealt with before.

The images below were taken in 2008 on my first D40
Heading towards Blakeney Norfolk 2008. Nikon D40

Cley Windmill... Norfolk 2008. Nikon D40
Back to basics but on checking my old images I am more than satisfied with the results.
My trip to Shell Island has been put on hold as I have had a lovely invitation to go and stay with an old friend in the Yorkshire Dales.
Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales
Leyburn is a lovely little town (I've googled it) and the surrounding countryside looks wonderful. I have been to the dales before but have never explored this area of England's biggest county.
Fingers crossed the camera arrives in time and my 2011 break ends quite nicely.

All shots are great but I'm in awe at the scenery in the bottom shot. WOW, it's fantastic!
