When I got home from work this evening I switched on my television to watch/listen to our local North West news programme on the BBC. The mention of Russian invaders caught my attention and there they were Waxwings but no ordinary Waxwings. NWT were filming at the site in Kelsall where I had viewed these beautiful birds for the first time just a couple of weeks ago. I hope to see them again this weekend and this time get some video footage.... Fingers crossed.
