I have nothing better to do than just watch the birds in my garden as I rest my knees with my feet up.
I have a set of exercises I have to do every couple of hours and am starting to feel a bit more comfortable about walking around the house.
My feeders are close to the patio doors so I can use my living room like a bird hide.

I'm sat on my settee with a cup of tea by my side... bliss.
Today's favourite has to be my little pal the Robin snapped from the comfort of my home.
Isn't it great when the birds come to you.

tell that little birdie to come visit me - such a cutie.
have a great weekend, Andrew. ( :
Glad you're healing well Andrew, and along with a steady supply of tea, what better way to relieve the boredom and aid your recovery than watching the garden birds...[;o)
glad your buddy is keeping tabs on you.
Not many have the natural bird photo opportunity and "hide" as you have set up there. Good for you.
Lovely shots Andrew.
Glad the tea is working. Try some Bells for a speedier recovery. :-)
These are lovely shots, Andrew! Glad you are able to great such beautiful photos from your sofa! I hope you have a speedy recovery:)
Oh, the Robin is beautiful, cheers Andrew. I am pleased with your progress.

Fantastic photos, Andrew! I'm glad your rehab is coming along!
so pretty, the color on these is gorgeous... you are blessed to have the birds while you are recuperating.
Lovely photos!
So nice of him to keep you company! And what beautiful, colorful company it is! I am sitting at my recliner recovering from a recent back injury watching my feeder out my front window. What would we do without our bird friends? Beautiful shots with perfect focus on the eyes. I enjoyed my visit from Top Shot. ;)
I feel like I'm there
Exquisite photography of a beautiful bird ~ who seems to know you are there ^_^
Lovely shot of this great little bird. He doesn't even seem to know you are there, so enjoy your tea and shoot away!
I like him...and I like your feeder...did you make it?
Not a bad pastime. Your robins are so cute and so different than ours.
I'm happy to hear that you're doing well, Andrew! I love the shots of your adorable little Robin.
Oh, those robin shots are stunning!

Enjoyed it the 2nd time around Andrew. Lovely Robin, the kind we don't see here in this area.
Awesome shots of the robin! I'm glad you have something fun to do while your knees heal.
Great shots!! Hope you're up and around soon. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Get well soon Andrew!
Those little robins were my favorite bird to see in your side of the pond.
Andrew, these captures of your friendly Robin are superb - thank you so much for sharing them. And your header is a stunner! Wishing you continued good progress with your recuperation.
There is a sense of intimate connection with your feathered friends in these photos! Love the variety of poses - especially the partially open beak in the last photo!
He's such a sweet, lovely bird! I first learned that English robins are smaller, very different birds than our robins when I read The Secret Garden many years ago. You sound like you are convalescing, perhaps from an injury....hope you get better soon!
HI Andrew..You best be careful roaming around the house especially with a hot cup of tea!! : )
I was on crutches my first couple of days then I fell with the darn things, and that was the end of that!! I am surprised having both done your up and moving around already!
Your company is a cutie and seems to like your log feeder!
Take care
♥
