A couple of shots through the window....................... it's been snowing again

It's bitterly cold with a biting wind and snow so I haven't even ventured outside this morning.

Robin in the snow.
The last thing I need is to slip over with my knees the way they are at the moment...
...still a bit sore but walking on the flat is getting more comfortable day by day.

 Greenfinch.
I took all these shots through the patio window this morning as it was far too cold to open the doors.

Somebody new the doors were locked and didn't waste any time to take advantage of the situation.
Fingers crossed for better weather next weekend.

  4. I was shoveling a spoonful of steel cut oats as I came to the squirrel shots. It was like looking in the mirror. The birdies are lovely too - gotta love that Robin :)

  5. Glad you are being very careful. No, you certainly do not need a fall, after all you have been through in healing. The Robin is gorgeous and your Finch as well. Love the little Squirrel chap too;')~

  8. I'm so glad you have your great window view because definitely you don't need to slip and fall on the ice -- winter just doesn't want to leave this year does it? (Up North here in the US it is much the same.)

  9. Wiewiórka udaje ptaszka, ale ona też chce jeść. Dziękuję za rudzika. Dobrze, że Twoje kolana są coraz sprawniejsze. Pozdrawiam.
Squirrel goes bird, but she also wants to eat. Thank you for the robin. It's good that your knees are getting more efficient. Yours.

  13. Let's hope the weather starts to warm up soon so we can all go out and about again in relative comfort. Trust the squirrel to take advantage of no-one around to chase him away.

  18. beautiful snapshots through the glass Drew. Weather is so fickle; up to 33 degrees of recent (I've been away and bush-walking in it) and it's supposed to be Autumn. Yours is other way around; guess it will all level out sometime soon

  20. The Robin and Greenfinch are beautiful yardbirds. I have plenty of the bushy tailed rats here, they can be so annoying. Great shots!

  22. Love how you were able to get the little squirrels thumbs in that last shot. I love squirrels.
Glad to hear you are continuing to improve. Probably wise to stay in and not risk a fall.
