Blue Tit in my garden................................................ a favourite bird to watch

Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus)

It's the little visitors to my garden that are keeping me sane at the moment.

Blue Tit's are my current favourite birds to watch... so full of character.

The feeders are placed close to my patio doors and the birds have become used to the guy sat on a chair and the sound of his camera clicking away.

It's November already (where has this year gone)) but I still have a few roses flowering in the garden... the big red blob in these images... and quite a few weeds that need removing as soon as I can kneel again.

I have been stocking up on a variety of birdseed and fatballs in the hope of attracting a few of our winter visitors to my garden... here's hoping.

I hope your knee gets better soon Andrew, but in the meantime what better way to aid your recovery than to sit and enjoy the visitors to your garden!...[;o)

Andrew I have just been sat in a suuny (but rather chilly) garden watching them also. I am lucky enough to have Coal tits also and its great to watch which species tries to get the upper hand.

Sweet. I was at Mum's yesterday and was very disappointed. Saw none of the usual fellas. Then again, she hasn't started feeding them yet...
