Arley Hall................................................................................................... Cheshire

A few images from my visit to the gardens at Arley Hall yesterday.

Arley Hall

The gardens have been created over the last 250 years.

The herbaceous borders are thought to be the first planted in England.

They haven't reached their peak yet... the colours will be stunning in a few weeks.

A few more images for you to admire...

The lawn paths are wonderful to follow...

...and take you on a lovely journey.

I wish this was my lawn... I would need a ride on mower though.

It was a lovely sunny day... and I really enjoyed my visit.
I hope to see the gardens again in a few weeks... they are only four miles from home.

Wow, I would love a garden like that. Except it's hotter than hell here and my backyard is small. I am trying to do something like that but with desert plants. Really need some help though. Lovely pictures Andrew!
