a diary of my walks in the countryside
I have a ton of them here. Want me to send you a few boxes full?
Looks like he is trying to tell you something.
Cute feeder. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of House Sparrows on this side of the Atlantic, we could send you some.
Dozens of them here in Kinross Andrew.
Looks like he's telling them to back off it's mine
I now am having quite a number every day in my back garden to feed. They come for a chat in the Holly bush everyday in the front garden.
Hard to believe that a bird that is this adaptable can be in decline.Good to see yours are doing well! The swallow in ny picture is a different species to the UK one - which is called the Barn Swallow else where. A Barn Swallow in Australia would be a really good bird.Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Yep, I get hundred of them, I don't understand why its on red list.
Pretty shot of the House Sparrow.. They are common birds and seemed to be plentiful here.. Thank you so much for linking up, Have a happy weekend!
Great photo! The sparrow is a beautiful bird.
Pretty sparrow! I like your feeder. We have many sparrows around here, but I've never seen them eating suet.
Just a great photo !
What a nice shot. He's a very photogenic little bird.
Love that he has his beak open...you don't often catch birds in mid-note!
