The "Ghost" Squirrel..................................................... Marbury Country Park

I first saw this little white Grey Squirrel on the 31st of October (Halloween).
I think a lot of people disbelieved me because of the date and the fact I called it a "Ghost" squirrel.

Well I really did see it and captured this image (already shared) before it disappeared.

We were back at Marbury for a walk this afternoon and spotted it again close to the car park.

Again I wasn't very well prepared with the camera and only managed to capture a few record shots.
I hope to see it again... and be better prepared.

Very cool! I've never seen one like this before. I'm surprised he's still around since he stands out to predators.

Andrew. I bet it's the fastest Squirrel for miles around?...it needs to be with a coat that colour, perhaps it's hoping for some snow to give it a bit of a break?...[;o)

That must be such a rare occurrence to see an albino squirrel. Must mean lots of luck coming your way in 2014.

I have an albino squirrel that enjoys my mature trees, but he doesn't show up much when his world is covered with snow like it is now.
Happy New Year!

We used to have an albino chipmunk that would visit and scamper about our garage! Happy New Year:-)

its a wonderful creature Andrew. Probably a little too conspicuous for hunting cats.
