Published again.................................................................................................

I have had a few more of my images published recently.

Raven (Corvus corax).
The November edition of Bird Watching magazine has my Raven image on page 32.

Another has appeared in a book on Welsh Follies.

The author Graham Watkins asked if he could use this image of Ellin's Tower at South Stack Anglesey for his book on Welsh Follies... it's in chapter one.

The book has still to come out in print but there is a Kindle Edition available from Amazon.
 Welsh Follies... (Kindle Edition)

One more... a design company asked to use a picture I took of shoppers in the city of Chester.

They are putting together a Media Pack and liked this busy scene at Chester Cross.

...it's a nice feeling seeing my images in print...
...I had to buy my own copy of the magazine though.

Hey, don't give them away. The Raven is a cracker. How are the legs?
I went for a spiral bird feeder. £18.00p. It looks good but i doubt the birds would appreciate it.

Nice job! Are your ravens the same species as ours, Corvus corax?

Oh, yes, Andrew, the expression on the raven's face just cried out for publication. Fabulous!
And the photo of Chester reminds me of a story. The only time I was in Chester was with my parents, brothers and sisters-in-law in 1996, when we were hit with a sudden downpour.
We rushed into the nearest place for shelter. It was a pub, and on the wall was a poster saying, "Coming in October, Acker Bilk" so I announced to the rest of the family, "I'm staying here until October."
My brother Clint could also remember the clarinet hit 'Stranger on the Shore' in 1962, as could our parents. They were sympathetic, but my brother Rob had bought my plane ticket, and the date could not be changed.
Sigh.
I would have happily stayed in that pub, washing dishes or walls or floors or whatever, if I could have, just to see and hear Acker Bilk.

Good for you. You made me laugh having to buy a copy of the magazine. Why at least they could have given you one as a token of their appreciation. Why the nerve of them!

It's very rewarding to have your photography recognized in this way. For me, only happened a few times. Best example was a very polite request from student in the Middle East who wanted to use my photos of mistletoe in his research paper on plant parasites. :-)

All three of your photos were publish worthy for different reasons.
