A bit of Autumn sunshine..................................................................................

The weather has been much better today... windy but with plenty of sunny spells.

I have spent most of the day indoors...
...but with the patio doors open it felt like I was sat in the garden.

The garden was fairly quiet again... the visitors being mainly House Sparrows...

...and Dunnocks.

Even the squirrel was fairly well behaved... feeding off the bird table which I don't really mind.

When he did approach the feeders a clap of the hands sent him scurrying away.

I have been trying to tempt the Robin to feed from my hand... it's still work in progress.

I said tempt the Robin....... not you!

Looking out at that garden has to be good for anyone's health, Andrew, and I trust yours is coming along nicely.
I always love to see the British robins, so much lovelier than our big North American robins, but I've never seen (nor heard of) a Dunnock before. What a little sweetie it is.
And I'm one of those silly females who loves to see squirrels any time, anywhere.

I'm sure the Robin will co-operate soon.

Pretty garden. I love that little squirrel. How thrilling it would be to get the robin to eat from your hand!

sweet series Drew; I like the Dunnock. Nice new profile shot too and quite some camera setup you're using --- wondering what it is and lens etc? I'm always so curious about cameras. How heavy is it? I'd love to work a while with one but guess the weight would do me in...

Yes you surely do have a lovely little British garden. I think you may have room for just one more bird feeder...maybe. Regarding today's quiz, you were the only one to get it wrong but it was the flu affecting your decision. Get better soon.

I wondered how long it would be until the robin does just that. He certainly loves your garden and is very used to you and who could resist mealworms for long.
Nice to see a bit more of your garden too.
