Home from my holiday in Norfolk............................. the weather was fantastic

I can't believe were the time has gone... it really flies by when you are having fun.

Last Saturday we visited Birdfair at Rutland Water on our way to Norfolk.
I didn't take many pictures as there was so much to see...
...but did wonder about this spotting scope display next to the portable toilets?

After spending the night in a motel near Peterborough we continued our journey to the Norfolk coast...
...stopping for lunch in Hunstanton we wandered down to the beach.

The weather was perfect for kite surfing... or just watching and enjoying the sun.

We were to spend the first two nights in Blakeney... at the Manor Hotel...
...and no this little Austin in the car park wasn't our mode of transport.

The Manor Hotel only had this room (suite) available... we decided it would have to do!

Blakeney Point is home to a large seal colony...
...we purchased tickets to see them the next day (Monday)... more images to follow.

This windmill is just a mile or so along the coast path at Cley next the Sea.
My knees are still giving me problems... we had to use the car to get there.
Loads of images to sort through... I promise not to share them all... but it has been a wonderful week.

Drop Dead gorgeous is the Seven. It's not a Ruby so what is it?
Glad the holiday was good.

I think that I'll continue using my spotting scope for wildlife rather than porta-potty users.

lovely to get away somewhere different and wind down some. I'd love to see the seals; they look very complacent but I'm not sure they always are?
