Swans throwing some shapes....................... for World Bird Wednesday

SWAN LAKE
(produced by "rambles with a camera" and introducing the cast during their warm up).

Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus).
Let's get ready to.....

.....strike the pose.

 Mute Swan (Cygnus olor).

.....then stretch .....Oooh! that feels good!

 Black Swan (Cygnus atratus).

.....and a flex of the neck.

Swans are lovely birds to watch.

Śliczne zdjęcia łabędzi w różnych pozach. Dziękuję, bo patrzą na zdjęcia widzę różnicę między łabędziem krzykliwym i niemym. Pozdrawiam. *** Cute pictures of swans in various poses. Thank you for looking at the pictures I see the difference between loud and mute swan. Yours.

This is a lovely collection of swans, Andrew. I saw Tundra Swans while out looking at Sandhill Cranes but couldn't get close enough for such wonderful images.

each photograph so beautiful Andrew. You were in the right spot ... Note the tag; wonder how often they pick them up to check their data.

Like that black swan. Great clarity in all of your pictures. Is there a video in the works of the swans with background music by Tchaikovsky?
