lovely assortment of photographs Andrew. The sandwich tern (does this relate to a location or what we eat? :)) ... looks very similar to the what I thought was a piper seen yesterday. Interesting to see your own pied oyster-catcher too. Always enjoy learning we do have some bird types the same. Still wish I had your robins though, just somewhere near.

Hard to pick a favorite. I like the bowtide and wake the Mute Swan is making. I'll go with that one.

Fotografias maravilhosas com destaque para a segunda dessa série, um pombo bebendo água... nunca vi uma imagem dessas... simplesmente maravilhosa.
Série muito bem escolhida.
Tudo de bom!

Your lovely birds are inspiring me to try out some bird photography. I have done a few, but see I have a long way to go. I live in Texas, and not too far of a distance to a bird sactuary on the coast, the gulf of Mexico, and think I will go there in the spring to find some seabirds. What sort of lens do you prefer for these shots? My largest is a 70/200. Would that be adequate, or do you need a 500? Very nice.

Andrew - I'm back - hope you had a nice Christmas.

I love all your pictures there - one is better than the other.

Each time I look at those pictures I think about God and the magnificent joy he gives us threw his beauty.

I like the one that has swooped down and gotten to his dinner.

Happy New Year.
