A Christmas song by the Wives of the British troops in Afghanistan.......

Wherever You Are (Military Wives with Gareth Malone)
This wonderful video has just been shown on our popular early evening BBC TV programme
 "The One Show"
All the ladies in the choirs husbands are serving with the British Army in Afghanistan.
The song is tipped to be No 1 in the charts this Christmas.

All it's proceeds will go to charity.

It's wonderful.

This is an amazing song. Truly worthy of being a christmas number one. Our soldiers in Afghanistan are always in our thoughts. No more so than at this time of year when they are apart from their loved ones.

Hi Andrew ...that was so beautiful and touching!!
We go about our days and unless we are a military family fail often to remember those whose families are so disrupted, some with a Mom and Dad serving at the same time over there!!
Thanks for sharing that !

such a tugger of the heart-strings, bought me to tears inside the first 50 seconds. Very beautifully orchestrated; will mean such a lot to so many people.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your recent visit to my Purple Traveller blog. I in turn have just had a really enjoyable time browsing your blog....your bird images are stunning and I have linked in as a follower hoping to see more in the future.

I also have a photo blog called 'Aura Of Past Shadows' but my images follow a totally different style and subject matter than yours and sadly don't match up to the wonderful high standard of your images.....
