The Japanese Garden Tatton Park........................... Coots and Koi Carp

The gardens at Tatton Park are extensive... and a short stroll from the mansion house takes you through woodland to the beautiful little Japanese Garden.

The Autumn colours were the best I have seen anywhere this year and it's a lovely place to just take in the tranquility.... or would have been without hoards of weekend visitors and screaming kids...

I apologize for the music over the video clip (and the annoying advert) but believe me it's far better than hearing the original racket.

It's a wonderful place to visit on a quiet day.

Beautiful. The Japanese must be over the moon about the garden, and, that is superb photos.

Oh, I live about 40 miles from Slimbridge, I go there 4 times per year, but sometimes there is interesting.

Looks a great place Andrew. Reminds me of the Japanese garden I visited at the San Francisco park.

There is no landscaping equal to that of a Japanese garden IMHO. Your little video ended much too soon, it could have gone on for another five minutes and the music chimed right in perfectly. Great pictures Andrew, so serene, thanks for deleating the throngs!

Andrew, these are beautiful shots of the Japanese Garden. It looks so quiet and serene - screaming kids must ruin the atmosphere. I loved watching the Coots in the video, which was lovely as usual.
