Happy Families.......................... Vale Royal Locks

I had a lovely stroll along the River Weaver to Vale Royal Locks.
It's a favourite walk.
We had a holiday at the weekend in the UK... families were out relaxing and enjoying themselves...including the wildlife.

Look Mum I can take my leg out of the water...just like you!
Look! look! look!... I really can!
Can I show you my new trick?
It's really easy to do... thanks for showing me how bro!...
....we can try synchronized one legged swimming now.

There is a small pool next to the locks... I spotted this Moorhen trying to teach the kids to climb...
...it was fun to watch.
OK... this ones a bit too steep... lets try a smaller one.
Mum... that man from "rambles with a camera" is watching us.
follow me.....
.....Oh! oh! oh! it's so high...wait for us.
I apologise that I didn't get this shot in focus but it was so funny to watch... I had to share it.

I took a 360 degree video clip of Vale Royal Locks with my little point and shoot. The locks were crossed many times during my school days X Country runs.

Always nice to see a family of Swans out and about but I really don't think that Moorhens are built for climbing!
