Cheshire countryside...............my daily commute

An early start on a misty morning
My commute to and from work which starts around 6.45am and ends around 6.30pm has recently become more relaxed due to the clocks going forward a couple of weeks ago. It gives me daylight both ways so I can enjoy the local countryside as I travel into Manchester using the local lanes and bypassing the major traffic routes.
Looking West towards the Sandstone Ridge
The view East looking towards the hills of the Gritstone Ridge
The images above show you just how flat Cheshire is.
The Cheshire plain is famous for it's Dairy Herds and producing the world renowned Cheshire cheese.
The county was once underneath the sea, the reason for the salt the area is famous for.
Cheshire may appear flat from some view points but there are some lovely hilly areas amongst this landscape.

The US did our "spring forward" last month. It does make the evenings longer and more enjoyable. Your photos are gorgeous!
